He is a graduate of UNC Wilmington with a Degree in Business Management, with seventeen plus years of experience in the insurance business. Through his experience, Robert has realized that although it is easy to find someone to sell you insurance, finding an agent who knows the value of service after the sale is hard to come by. Robert’s customers will tell you that customer service has, and will always be, his number one goal, and is what sets him apart from other agents. His focus is on each client in helping them to make the right decision before the sale, providing support during a claim, and answering billing questions. He also offers coverage reviews at renewal, when you buy a new car or home, and even for “what if” scenarios if you have the misfortune of getting a speeding ticket.
Since joining Partners he has rounded out his book of business to include race car teams, manufacturing plants, metal roofing companies, machine shops, carpenters, plumbers, painters, and heating & air contractors. During this time Robert has never lost his focus on the individual. So with this varied product line and his experience, if you need to insure your home or your race team Robert can now help YOU!

Robert (Bobby) Black
I was fortunate to be raised in Mount Holly, a small town where my parents came in 1950 after they finished college at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Virginia. My father was Robert H. Black who was the beloved band director in Mount Holly for 35 years. My sweet 85 year old mother, Betty Black, started the preschool kindergarten program at First United Methodist Church in 1966 and still finds joy in seeing some of the many children she taught now as adults with children and their own children attending the same wonderful program at FUMC. She still lives in Woodland Park, which was the best neighborhood a kid could grow up in. Some of my childhood friends from 1954 are still be best friends 59 years later!
